Documents Required for PPSC Document Scrutiny
This section details the exact list of certificates candidates must carry, helping applicants prepare well in advance and avoid rejection during verification.
As per proviso 8.6 of the “General Information for the Candidates,” shortlisted candidates must carry the following self-attested documents along with a signed printout of the online application form:
- Proof of Date of Birth (Matriculation/Higher Secondary Certificate)
- Proof of having passed the Punjabi language exam
- Relevant degree and DMC (Detailed Marks Certificate)
- Sports Gradation Certificate (if applicable)
- Persons with Disability (PwD) Certificate (if applicable)
- Reserve Category Certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable)
- Latest Punjab Residence Certificate mandatory for all reserved category candidates, including Female and EWS candidates who applied under the General Category
- Ex-Serviceman (ESM) documents mentioning date of enrollment, date of release/discharge, and reason for release/discharge; LDESM candidates must produce the original LDESM certificate (if applicable)
- Proof of age relaxation claim (if applicable)
- Proof of fee concession claim (if applicable)
- Proof of being a government employee (if applicable)
- Any other relevant supporting certificate (if applicable)
Candidates must also sign the declaration on the last page of the printout of the online application form before submission.
Should Candidates Bring Original Documents Too?

Yes. Along with self-attested photocopies, candidates are required to bring original certificates/documents at the time of submission, as these will be cross-checked during scrutiny.
What Happens If a Candidate Is Found Ineligible?
