MSBTE Summer Re-evaluation Result 2026 – Quick Overview

MSBTE declared the Summer 2026 Diploma Result on 18 June 2026 for students who appeared in the even-semester (2nd, 4th, 6th) theory exams held from 23 April to 16 May 2026 and practical exams held from 8 to 18 April 2026. Students who felt their marks did not reflect their performance could apply for a photocopy of the assessed answer sheet and, based on that, apply for re-evaluation (reassessment). The re-evaluation result is expected on the official result portal on 15 July 2026.

MSBTE Summer 2026 Re-evaluation: Important Dates

MSBTE conducted this year’s checking through the Digital Evaluation method for the relevant subjects. Because digital evaluation calculates totals automatically, the standard “Verification” (Marks Verification) facility – where only totals are rechecked – has been disabled for these subjects. Students can instead apply directly for a photocopy and then for re-evaluation. The reported schedule is as follows:

Who Can Apply for MSBTE Re-evaluation

• Any student who appeared for the MSBTE Summer 2026 diploma examination and is not satisfied with their subject-wise marks.
• Students must first apply for and receive a photocopy of the assessed answer sheet before applying for re-evaluation.
• Re-evaluation applies to subjects checked under the Digital Evaluation method; a separate procedure applies to any subjects evaluated manually (not digitally), where full “Verification” may still be available. Check with your institute which method applies to your subjects.

MSBTE Re-evaluation Fee Structure

Based on the fee structure applicable from the Winter 2025 examination onward (as reported in MSBTE-related circulars), the charges are:

Students can apply for a photocopy of a maximum of two subjects per seat number. Fees must be paid at the student’s own institute after the online application generates a fee receipt – MSBTE does not accept direct online fee payment for this process. Exact fee amounts should always be verified against the current official circular, as boards periodically revise fee structures.

How to Apply for MSBTE Photocopy and Re-evaluation

1. Visit the official MSBTE website at msbte.ac.in and go to the “Examination” tab.
2. Select “Digital Evaluation” and click on “Photocopy/RE – Student Login.”
3. Log in using your Enrolment Number and Summer 2026 Seat Number.
4. Register your active mobile number and email ID. Your OTP and the digital photocopy PDF will be sent only to this registered email.
5. Select up to two subjects for which you want a photocopy.
6. Submit the application to generate a fee receipt.
7. Pay the fee at your institute within the confirmation window and submit the printed receipt to your college coordinator.
8. Once you receive the photocopy (around 2 July 2026), review it carefully – ideally with your subject teacher – for any marking errors.
9. If discrepancies are found, apply separately for re-evaluation through the same student login within the re-evaluation application window (3-5 July 2026), and pay the reassessment fee at your institute.

How to Check and Download the MSBTE Re-evaluation Result

1. Go to the official result portal at result.msbte.ac.in.
2. Look for the link related to “Photocopy/Re-evaluation Result” or “Reassessment Result” for Summer 2026.
3. Enter your Enrolment Number or Seat Number as prompted.
4. Submit to view your revised subject-wise marks.
5. Download and save the revised result for your records; the physical revised marksheet is typically issued later through your institute.

Important Instructions for Students

• If your marks change after receiving the photocopy but before applying for reassessment, follow up with your institute and regional office to get the correction reflected first.
• Once re-evaluation marks are declared, they are treated as final – even if the revised marks turn out lower than your original marks. Apply only if you are genuinely confident about a marking error.
• Some institutes require submission of your original Summer 2026 marksheet in a sealed envelope before confirming a reassessment application – check this requirement with your college.
• Server load is usually high right after a result is declared – try checking during off-peak hours if the portal is slow.

What to Do After the Re-evaluation Result

• If your marks improve and you pass: Collect the revised marksheet from your institute and proceed with next-semester registration or admission processes.
• If you still have a backlog (KT) after re-evaluation: You are not required to lose an academic year immediately. Prepare for the MSBTE Winter 2026 back-paper examination, expected in November-December 2026, and submit your back-exam form through your institute within the announced deadline.
• If you plan lateral entry into a degree course: Diploma holders in engineering branches can apply for direct second-year admission into B.E./B.Tech programmes through the Maharashtra Centralised Admission Process (CAP) once their final result is confirmed.
