Eligibility Criteria

• Assistant Professor (General Surgery): A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019. Holders of Educational Qualification included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of Indian Medical Council Act,1956 now National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
• A post-graduate degree in the concerned speciality mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications.
• At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized Medical College.
• M.S. (Surgery/ Gen. Surgery) F.R.C.E. Speciality Board of Surgery (U.S.A.).
• Assistant Professor (Dermatology): A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019. Holders of Educational Qualification included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section-13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
• A postgraduate degree in the concerned speciality mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications.
• Atleast 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognised Medical College.
• MD (Dermatology and Venereology)/ MD (Medicine) with D.V.D

Pay Scale

• Assistant Professor: Rs.37400-67000 + (G.P. 8900)
• Assistant Professor (Dermatology, Forensic Medicine): Pay Band Level – 30 (Rs. 129700 – 214300)
