| Essential Qualification | First class M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology + Qualified CSIR-UGC NET/GATE in the relevant subject. |
| Desirable Qualification | Experience in geological fieldwork, sample preparation/analysis and knowledge of softwares such as ArcGIS, CorelDRAW, Origin, etc. |
| Age Limit | Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of advertisement (Age relaxation for reserved categories as per GoI norms). |
