GADVASU Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
What is confirmed from the official source: all candidates must have passed Matriculation examination in Punjabi language from the Punjab School Education Board or an equivalent recognized examination, on or before the last date of application submission.
GADVASU Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern & Selection Process
What is confirmed from the official source: all candidates must clear a qualifying Punjabi language test equivalent to Matriculation standard with a minimum of 50% marks, in addition to any competitive examination/proficiency/physical test applicable to the post. Failure to secure 50% marks in the Punjabi language test disqualifies the candidate from the next stage.
GADVASU Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
- Fee is inclusive of GST and must be paid online only.

- The downloaded payment receipt must be attached with the application form.
- Fee once paid is non-refundable.
GADVASU Recruitment 2026 Reservation Policy
- Reservation benefits are available only to residents of Punjab, as per Punjab Government rules.
- Category certificates must be as per Punjab Government instructions.
- A recent Domicile/Residence Certificate (not older than 5 years as on the last date of application) is mandatory for all candidates claiming reservation.
- Original category certificates must be produced during document verification, failing which the claimed category will not be considered.

How to Apply for GADVASU Recruitment 2026 (Offline)
- Download the application form from the official website: www.gadvasu.in.
- Fill in all personal, educational and other required details correctly, including your own mobile number and email ID.
- Pay the application fee online through the payment link on the website.
- Attach the downloaded payment receipt with the application form.
- Enclose self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, properly page-numbered, indexed and tagged.
- Enclose three self-addressed envelopes (9”x4”).
- Keep a copy of the submitted application form for your own reference.
- Send the duly filled hard copy of the application form, along with fee receipt and enclosures, by post/physical mode only to: The Registrar, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Near Verka Milk Plant, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana-141012, so as to reach on or before 28.07.2026 up to 4:00 PM.
- In-service candidates must send an advance copy by the same last date (28.07.2026), with the proper-channel copy reaching the Registrar’s office by 13.08.2026.
Other Important Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms with separate fee and enclosures for each post.
- All academic credentials must be from a recognized Board/University/Institution.
- All required certificates/documents must have been issued on or before the last date of application submission.
- Selected candidates for Sr. No. 1 to 5 must execute a bond at the time of joining, as per the terms available on the University website.
- Probation period for all posts is three years, as per Punjab Government rules.
- Selected candidates may be posted at the Main campus, Outstations, Outside Colleges/Research Stations/KVKs, and can be deputed for night duty on a rotational basis.
- Selected candidates must undergo mandatory medical fitness tests and Character and Antecedents verification before joining.
- Application forms without prescribed fee, documents, photographs or signatures will be treated as incomplete and rejected.
- No correction or addition of documents will be entertained after the last date of submission.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in any examination, test or document verification.
- The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw any post at any stage, as reiterated in Corrigendum-I.
