Educational Qualification
- Qualifications as laid down by National Medical Commission (NMC) Regulations dated 30.06.2025 for minimum qualifications for teachers in medical institutions, as amended from time to time.
- MS-CIT Passing Certificate.
- SSC or HSC passed with Marathi as a subject.
- If the MS-CIT and SSC/HSC-with-Marathi certificates are not available at the time of interview, candidates must submit them within 3 months (MS-CIT) and 6 months (SSC/HSC with Marathi) from the date of appointment.

- Selection is through document scrutiny followed by a personal interview — there is no written exam.
- Applicants found ineligible will not be informed individually or separately.
- All selections will be made as per NMC norms.
- The Municipal Commissioner, MCGM has the right to stop the selection process at any time and at any stage.

Candidates must submit attested photocopies of the following along with the prescribed application form:

How to Apply for LTMG Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026
- Collect the prescribed application form from Room No. 15, Cash Section (Head Clerk-Cash), LTMG Hospital & Medical College, on working days between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
- Fill the application form in your own handwriting, complete in all respects, with a recent passport-size photograph affixed.
- Attach attested photocopies of all required documents listed above.
- Submit the completed application to the Central Dispatch Section, LTMG Hospital & Medical College, Sion, Mumbai 400022, on or before 24.07.2026, up to 4:00 PM.
Applications received after the prescribed date and time will not be considered, and no correspondence on this matter will be entertained.
LTMG Recruitment 2026: Important Instructions
- This appointment is purely on a contract basis and not a regular appointment.
- A candidate appointed on contract basis can be discontinued at any time if not required.
- Candidature can be cancelled at any stage if the candidate is found not fulfilling the requisite qualifications and conditions, or in case of false information/certificates/papers or suppression of required information.
- The address for correspondence must be clear and complete, with PIN code, telephone/mobile number, and email ID quoted in the application.
- Selected candidates will be appointed at LTMG Hospital & Medical College, and can be transferred to a Municipal Medical College as per requirement.
- Candidates already in service must submit a No Objection Certificate from their previous employer.
- Selected candidates are eligible only for Casual Leave and Special Casual Leave as per Circular No. Director/M.E.&M.H/3644 dated 14.10.2022 — they are not eligible for any other leave.
- Candidates wishing to resign must submit their resignation with one month’s notice in advance.
- If Assistant Professors become available on a regular basis through direct service, the services of contractually appointed candidates will be terminated.
