Release Date and Background

Why the Earlier Selection List Was Cancelled

This is not the first selection list issued for this post. Here is the sequence of events that led to the current revised list:

• The Commission first declared a selection list (No. 8397/52/2024/चयन) and a marks list (No. 8398/52/2024/चयन) on 3 September 2025.
• These were later withdrawn, and a revised selection list (No. 3996/52/2024/चयन) along with a revised marks list (No. 3997/52/2024/चयन) were declared on 11 June 2026.
• Meanwhile, in compliance with orders passed by the Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in Writ Petition No. 12337/2025, Writ Petition No. 39146/2025, and other connected petitions, the Commission conducted additional interviews on 21 May 2026 for candidates named in its notice dated 13 May 2026 (No. 2549/52/2024/चयन).
• Due to an error during processing of the revised result, 4 candidates whose candidature had been held valid for these additional interviews could not be included in the earlier lists.
• To correct this, the Commission has now cancelled the selection list and marks list dated 3 September 2025 and 11 June 2026 with immediate effect and removed them from its website, and has declared this new revised selection list including all 4 affected candidates, based strictly on interview merit.

In short, this 6 July 2026 list supersedes and replaces all previously issued selection and marks lists for this post.

Post and Vacancy Details

The main part (87%) selection list covers 185 posts, distributed as follows:

Out of the total 208 posts advertised, 12 posts were reserved for persons with disabilities (Orthopedically impaired – 3, Visually impaired – 3, Hearing impaired – 3, Multiple disabilities – 3).

Vacant Posts

As per the Commission’s notification, out of the 185 main-part posts, 69 posts (SC – 7, ST – 37, EWS – 25) remain vacant due to non-availability of adequate or eligible candidates. Additionally, out of the 12 posts reserved for persons with disabilities, 11 posts remain vacant due to non-availability of eligible candidates in that category. As per government instructions, an equal number of posts (8, since 3 were already accounted for) from the available unreserved category have also been kept vacant against these disability-category vacancies. In total, 77 posts remain vacant under this selection list.

Selection Stage Covered

This list represents the final selection stage based on merit of interview marks. It is not a written exam result; selection was made purely on the basis of personal interviews conducted on the dates mentioned above, following the earlier document verification and eligibility screening stages.

Selection Process

The Commission has clarified that where sufficient women candidates were not available for women-reserved posts, such posts were filled by male candidates of the same category, as per General Administration Department Circular No. 3/2/97/3 dated 10.02.1997. Similarly, for unreserved (open) posts, only those reserved-category candidates who qualified without any relaxation and on pure merit were selected, as per Circular No. F-7-46/99 dated 7 November 2000.
