Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institute or an equivalent degree.
  • Only candidates who completed their internship after 01.03.2024 and before 01.07.2026 are eligible. Candidates furnishing an internship certificate dated prior to 01.03.2024 will have their candidature cancelled.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected Junior Residents will be placed at Pay Matrix Level-10 as per the 7th CPC, with a Basic Pay of Rs. 56,100/- per month, along with other admissible allowances.

Selection Process

  • Selection is made strictly on a merit basis through a walk-in interview only; there is no written examination.

Terms of Contractual Appointment

  • Junior Residents are entitled to 2½ days of leave per calendar month; no other leave is granted, and leave does not carry forward to the next month.
  • LTC, pensionary benefits, Group Insurance, Study Leave, and Child Care Leave are not admissible.
  • Maternity leave/Miscarriage leave will be granted as per the provisions of the Maternity Benefits (Amendment) Act 2017 to appointed female Junior Residents.
  • The contract may be terminated by either side with 10 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
  • This is a purely contractual selection and does not confer any right to regularization or permanent absorption.
  • Private practice of any kind is not allowed during the tenure.
  • Selected candidates who accept the offer and join the hospital will not be issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for any purpose, including passport or visa.
  • In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction of Courts will be Delhi/New Delhi only.
