Note: In the ICU department, if candidates with a postgraduate qualification do not appear, MBBS doctors without a PG degree but with two years of experience (including at least one year in ICU, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Casualty, or Anesthesia from a government or private hospital, not a private clinic) may be considered for appointment as a Non-PG Resident against the Senior Resident post for one year.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold the educational qualification prescribed in accordance with the latest guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly the Medical Council of India (MCI), for the concerned speciality. This generally means an MBBS degree along with a postgraduate degree or diploma (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in the relevant department, though the ICU relaxation described above may apply where postgraduate candidates are unavailable.
Age Limit

How to Apply for ESIC Faridabad Senior Resident Recruitment 2026
There is no online application process for this recruitment. Candidates must follow the offline, walk-in procedure described below:
- Prepare self-attested photocopies of all the documents listed in the required documents section above.
- Report to the Examination Hall, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on 15 July 2026.
- Appear before the Document Verification Committee with the original documents and self-attested copies.
- Once documents are verified, appear before the Interview Board on the same day.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application, along with the required documents and applicable fee, for each post.
Candidates working in Government, Autonomous, or Statutory institutions should preferably carry a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview. If the NOC is not immediately available, a copy of the “applied for NOC” along with an undertaking must be submitted at the time of document verification.
Important Instructions
- Reservation will be as per Government of India guidelines issued from time to time.
- In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, a meritorious available candidate may be given an offer of engagement for a period of 39 days at the sole discretion of the Appointing Authority.
- The EWS certificate should be submitted as per Annexure-I of the Government of India, DoPT Office Memorandum No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res), dated 31 January 2019.
- The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be issued not prior to one year from the cut-off date and in the format applicable for Central Government appointment, issued by an officer not below the rank of Sub-Divisional Officer or equivalent.
- No private practice is allowed in any capacity after joining as Senior Resident at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview or for submission of any document.
- The contract will be terminated in case a bonded Senior Resident joins the same post.
- Absence from work exceeding 7 days without prior approval from the competent authority will be treated as voluntary abandonment, resulting in automatic termination. Attendance must be recorded both manually and through the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily.
- The Senior Resident will not be entitled to service benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Medical Benefits, Seniority, or Promotion.
- Hostel accommodation or quarters may be provided to the extent possible but cannot be claimed as a matter of right; if availed, no HRA will be payable and applicable license fee will be deducted.
- Wrong declarations or submission of false information will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
