Vacancy Details
The result covers 61 total vacancies for PGT (History) under Post Code 831/24, comprising 50 vacancies for Male candidates and 11 for Female candidates in the Directorate of Education, GNCTD. As per the notice, no requisition has been received till date for the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) vacancies under this post code.
Note: The UR category vacancies in both Male and Female sections include 01 PwBD (d&e) category vacancy each, as specified in the notice.

Document Verification and Next Steps
As per the notice, the provisional nomination is subject to the following:
- The User Department (Directorate of Education, GNCTD) will verify the identity, educational qualification, age, and eligibility of candidates as per the Recruitment Rules, before issuing the offer of appointment.
- DSSSB has not undertaken scrutiny of documents uploaded in the e-dossiers at this stage.
- Genuineness of caste certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) will be verified by the User Department from the issuing authority.
- Candidates must fulfil eligibility conditions as on the cutoff date of 14.02.2025.
- Mere inclusion of a candidate’s name in the result notice does not confer any right to the post unless the User Department is satisfied about the candidate’s suitability.
- There is no waiting list or reserve panel under the Combined Examination Scheme. Unfilled vacancies or vacancies arising from non-joining will be carried forward to subsequent year(s) by the concerned User Department.
Important Instructions
- Candidates must exercise at least one post preference within the stipulated time; those who fail to do so will not be considered for any post in the final result.
- Final selection and allocation of department is based on merit-cum-preference only.
