Eligibility Criteria

  • Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for all posts.
  • Candidates applying for more than one post should submit a separate application for each post.
  • For the Law post, qualification must be from National Law Universities, other Universities established by Acts of Central or State legislature, or institutions declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, recognised by the Bar Council of India.
  • For Corporate Communications posts, qualifications should be from approved recognized institutions.

Senior Consultant (Law Directorate)

Qualification Required Experience
Professional degree in Law (3 years regular course after graduation OR 5 years integrated regular course after 10+2); candidate should be eligible to get himself enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of India to practice in courts in India. 08-10 years of legal work experience.

Consultants (Corporate Communications Directorate)

Consultant (Content Writer) Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or English Literature from a recognised university, OR Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication/Journalism. Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or editorial roles within reputed organizations, agencies, or digital platforms; experience creating long-format content and scripts for audio-visuals, social media articles, blogs, advertising, and marketing collaterals; strong academic background with proven excellence in written and verbal English communication.
Consultant (Graphic Designer) Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Advanced Diploma/Degree in Multimedia/Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, or related disciplines from a recognised university. Strategic understanding of brand design and creative direction; experience leading design projects or managing a creative team; strong portfolio highlighting versatility, conceptual thinking, and design leadership.
Consultant (Video Editor) Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Diploma/Degree in Film Production/Media Studies, Mass Communication/Visual Arts, or Animation from a recognised university. Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional setup, preferably in TV media, advertising, digital media, broadcasting, or a creative agency environment; experience working on social media videos, brand films, promotional videos, event coverage, interviews, documentaries, and corporate communications content.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Content Writer: Ability to craft clear, concise, grammatically accurate, and engaging content in English & Hindi; creative and conceptual thinking; ability to interpret complex data or subjects and convert them into simplified, engaging narratives.
  • Graphic Designer: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Corel Draw; strong sense of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy; digital design skills including social media creatives, infographics, GIFs, and banner design. Applicants must submit a comprehensive portfolio.
  • Video Editor: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder); knowledge of DaVinci Resolve/Final Cut Pro/Avid Media Composer; understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, colour grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.

Consultants (Clinical Psychologists, CAP Directorate)

Charter of Duties

Senior Consultant (Law Directorate)

  • Conduct legal research on issues relating to aviation laws, contracts, service matters, land acquisition, arbitration, constitutional and administrative law.
  • Prepare Case Briefs, notes, and other documents pertaining to litigation of AAI.
  • Liaise and coordinate AAI’s litigation before various courts and tribunals.
  • Pursue court cases and attend hearings before courts and tribunals on behalf of AAI.
  • Draft, vet, and review legal documents including contracts, agreements, MoUs, affidavits, pleadings, written submissions, rejoinders, replies, notices, and correspondence; process profession fee bills of Lawyers.
  • Maintain litigation and legal data on the AIMS (or other designated) Portal.
  • Coordinate with departments, airports, and Corporate & regional offices for documents, reports, and records required for litigation.
  • Assist in maintaining records of court orders, judgments, legal opinions, contracts, and arbitration awards.
  • Perform other legal, research, or litigation duties as assigned by RED NR and GM (Law), CHQ.

Consultant (Content Writer)

  • Draft, edit, and proofread communication materials including press releases, articles, reports, speeches, and digital content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Consultant (Graphic Designer)

  • Create visually appealing and professional graphics for invitations, backdrops, hoardings, social media content, brochures, and other promotional materials.

Consultant (Video Editor)

  • Handle editing and production of multimedia content, transforming raw footage into engaging, polished video products.

Senior Consultant (Clinical Psychologist)

  • Coordinate with medical and HR teams for selection of ATCOs, ensuring quality and accuracy of verification methods.
  • Plan and conduct periodic training on mental health promotion for ATCOs.
  • Conduct Mental Status Examinations and interviews on referred or self-walk-in ATCOs.
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests for informed diagnosis.
  • Support the medical team in evaluating fitness for safety-sensitive duties.
  • Engage in psychoeducation and provide referrals for additional care when necessary.
  • Visit outstation airports for mental health promotion lectures as required.
  • Actively participate in the Peer Support Programme, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain quarterly databases of ATCO personality and cognitive profiles submitted by RHQ psychologists.
  • Make presentations on enhancing ATCO mental wellbeing per DGCA guidelines.

Consultant (Clinical Psychologist)

  • Coordinate with the Clinical Psychologist at CAP, CHQ for ATCO selection and verification.
  • Plan and conduct periodic training on mental health promotion for ATCOs.
  • Conduct Mental Status Examinations and interviews on referred or self-walk-in ATCOs.
  • Administer psychological tests in consultation with the Clinical Psychologist at CAP, CHQ.
  • Support the medical team in evaluating fitness for safety-sensitive duties.
  • Provide counselling/psychotherapy for ATCOs and families, maintaining standardized records shared with CAP, CHQ.
  • Visit outstation airports for mental health promotion lectures as required.
  • Actively participate in the Peer Support Programme, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain and submit quarterly databases of ATCO personality and cognitive profiles to CAP, CHQ.
  • Make presentations on enhancing ATCO mental wellbeing per DGCA guidelines.

Selection Process

  • Selection for all posts will be based on academic qualifications, experience, document verification, and interview.
  • Preliminary shortlisting will be based on documents uploaded with the online application.
  • Documents supporting Qualifications, Experience, and Age must be uploaded with the application and produced in original at the time of Document Verification and interview.

Important Instructions

  • Law & Corporate Communications posts: engagement is purely contractual, initially for 1 year. The Law post is extendable by 1 year at a time up to a cumulative maximum of 5 years; the Corporate Communications posts are extendable as per requirement and rules.
  • Clinical Psychologist posts: engagement is purely contractual, initially for a period of 3 years.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview/selection process for any post.
  • Leave will be allowed at the rate of 1.5 days for each completed month of service; unavailed leave cannot be carried forward or encashed.
  • AAI reserves the right to upgrade the eligibility criteria if a large number of applications are received.
  • AAI reserves the right to cancel, modify, withdraw, or postpone any of these engagement notices.
