- Final merit is based on the sum of: Educational Qualification marks + Experience marks + Written/Skill Exam marks.
- Educational qualification weightage: 65% of aggregate marks across all qualifying years (60% for ANM/GNM/Nursing-trained Mitanins). For Class-IV (NUHM/UHWC), Support Staff (Housekeeping-ICU), and Class-4 (MSSK) posts, educational qualification is weighted at 85%.
- Experience marks: maximum 10 marks (2 marks/year) for general candidates; maximum 15 marks (3 marks/year) for candidates currently working in NHM; maximum 20 marks (4 marks/year) for ANM/GNM Nursing-trained Mitanins (applicable only to those who completed the ANM course by 31 December 2017, with experience certified by the State Health Resource Centre).
- Written/Skill Exam: 20 marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 30% for general candidates and 20% for SC/ST/OBC candidates against advertised vacancies.
- A one-time bonus of 10 marks applies to temporary health workers who served in Chhattisgarh government health institutions for 6 months during the COVID-19 pandemic, for Class III and Class IV posts (per General Administration Department order dated 17.09.2021).
- In case of a tie in total marks, priority order is: (1) Educational qualification weightage marks, (2) Skill exam marks, (3) Higher age.
