Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D in Bioprocess Engineering or a related field with 2 years’ experience, or M.Tech with minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Expertise in Strain engineering using synthetic biology tools (including screening and library preparation of genetic parts); metabolic engineering including in-silico genome scale models.
- Hands-on experience with bioreactors or fermentation systems, analytics, or downstream processes.
- Strong understanding of bioprocess optimization.
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical data analysis (desirable).
- Experience with process modeling and simulation (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral; as demonstrated in Scientific writing including presentations, documentation, proposals and report generation.
- Ability to work, collaborate, and mentor junior researchers in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think critically, demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
