- Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout.
- Candidate should have good CPI/CGPA/Percentage in Ph.D course work where ever applicable.
- A minimum 6 years of teaching / research / industrial experience of which minimum 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor (pay level 12) in IITs / IISc Bangalore /IIMs /IISERs or in the institutes of national importance or Indian/ Foreign Institutes of equivalent standards/ Senior Scientist in the reputed National/International research organizations/ Industries at the time of application. The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students, publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.
- Professor:
- Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout.
