Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The examination for all the above posts will be conducted in MCQ-CBRT format (Multiple Choice Question, Computer Based Recruitment Test). Key points about the exam pattern as mentioned in the notice:

How to Download GSSSB Call Letter 2026: Step-by-Step Guide

All candidates belonging to the above cadres can download their online call letter (admit card) from 5:00 PM on 10 July 2026 until 15 minutes before the exam starts, by following these steps:

  1. Step 1: Click on the official call letter link: Click Here
  2. Step 3: After login, your Personal Details (Confirmation Number, Roll Number, Applicant Name, Date of Birth) will be displayed. Click on the Admit Card tab.
  3. Step 4: Click on the Admit Card option to download your online call letter. Take a physical printout of it.

Candidates must carry the printed call letter to the exam center on the exam day and carefully read and follow all instructions mentioned on it.

Important Exam Day Instructions

  • Candidates must reach the exam center by the reporting time (7:30 AM) shown in the call letter. Entry will not be given under any circumstances to candidates arriving after the reporting time.
  • Biometric verification will be carried out for all candidates at the exam center.
  • Candidates must bring a physical printout of the online call letter to the exam center; it is compulsory.
  • Candidates should carefully read all instructions printed on the call letter, since they are also needed for filling attendance sheet details and for the exam process.

Documents Required for Scribe/Compensatory Time Application

Special Category Rule (Blindness, Both-Hand Disability, Cerebral Palsy)

According to the notice, candidates with blindness, disability in both hands, or cerebral palsy are treated differently from other categories. All other disabled candidates, along with candidates with temporary disability due to accidental circumstances who are unable to write or face difficulty writing, must additionally submit a medical certificate as per APPENDIX-I (Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examinee to write) along with supporting evidence, in person or via email, to the Mandal. The Mandal’s decision on eligibility for this facility, based on the submitted evidence, is stated to be final.

Duties of the Scribe (Lahiya)

  • The scribe must sit at a distance from the candidate such that the candidate cannot easily touch him/her.
  • During the exam, the scribe must carefully read out the instructions given on the question booklet, OMR answer sheet, or on the computer screen (in case of CBRT), to the candidate.
  • The scribe must read out questions as instructed by the candidate and carefully mark (encode) the answers exactly as the candidate directs.
  • The scribe must inform the candidate about time remaining, as instructed by the candidate.
  • The scribe must not mark any answer on his/her own judgment, must not lead or hint the candidate towards any answer, and must not discuss exam matters with the invigilator or others in the exam hall.
  • If the scribe engages in indiscipline or misconduct in the exam hall, the candidate who availed the scribe’s help will be held responsible, and disciplinary action may be taken. The candidate’s candidature is liable to be cancelled in such cases.
