NHM Tamil Nadu Consultant Health Technology Assessment Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

| Educational Qualification | Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering / Medical Electronics / Biomedical Instrumentation / Medical Technology or related disciplines OR Medical Graduate with PG in Health Technology Assessment / Health Economics / Public Health / Health Systems. |
| Experience | Minimum 2-5 years of experience in health systems, biomedical technology, research, health economics or technology assessment. |
| Age Limit | Maximum 45 years as on the date of notification. |
| Desirable Skills | Familiarity with biomedical equipment management, HTA methodologies, data analysis, report writing, and understanding of public health systems. |
Remuneration
Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 40,000 – Rs. 60,000 (commensurate with qualifications, experience and seniority). Applicable taxes will be deducted as per rules. Field visit expenses will be reimbursed as per NHM guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Health Technology Assessments (HTA) for new interventions, diagnostics, and biomedical equipment.
- Assess clinical effectiveness, safety, cost-effectiveness, and health system impact.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations for technology adoption and procurement.
- Coordinate with national and state HTA institutions including ICMR institutes and DHR.
- Prepare HTA reports, policy briefs, and technical documents.
