- Officers working under the Central Government/ State Government/ Union Territory Administrations: Analogous post as Junior Engineer or equivalent in their parent cadre/department.
- Officers with at least 5 years of regular service in Level-5 in engineering cadre (Rs. 25500-81100) (PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 2800/-).
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized University or Institute.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University or Institute.
- Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized University or Institute/AICTE.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University or Institute/AICTE.
- Masters’ Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University Institute/ AICTE.
