Selection Process
- Selection is based solely on a Walk-in Personal Assessment carrying a total of 100 marks.
- Qualifying/pass marks: 50 for all categories.
- Candidates are assessed on: Professional Knowledge and Skills (concerned discipline), Professional Knowledge and Skills (allied discipline), and Personal Attributes and Soft Skills.
- Final selection is purely merit-based on marks scored in the assessment, subject to securing the qualifying marks of 50 or above.
How to Apply
- There is no online application for this recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates must report in person for Registration at the venue between 07:00 AM and 09:00 AM on 12 August 2026.
- Candidates who complete registration within the stipulated time will appear for the Walk-in Personal Assessment on the same day.
- No candidate will be permitted to register outside the specified date and time window under any circumstances.
- If the number of registered candidates exceeds venue capacity on 12 August 2026, the assessment for remaining candidates will be carried forward to subsequent day(s).
- Candidates must carry the following in original plus self-attested photocopies:
- Filled Personal Bio-Data Form (format provided in the official notification)
- One recent 3cm x 3cm coloured passport photograph
- Valid Photo ID Proof and Address Proof issued by a competent Government authority
- Date of Birth proof (Class 10th Certificate)
- Class 10th Admit Card, Marksheet and Pass Certificate; qualification marksheets/certificates and experience certificates, as applicable
- Valid Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, EWS Income and Asset Certificate, Disability Certificate, Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book, as applicable
- No Objection Certificate, if currently employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous Body
- EPF Passbook (if available), Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Bank Passbook
- No Travelling Allowance or Daily Allowance will be paid for appearing in the assessment; candidates must arrange their own travel and accommodation.
Remuneration
Contractual Data Assistant (Medical)
- Fixed Emolument: Rs. 21,450 per month (based on attendance, including paid leave/holiday)
- Variable Emolument: Rs. 825 per day for each working day
Contractual Warden (Female) for School of Nursing
- Fixed Emolument: Rs. 24,960 per month (based on attendance, including paid leave/holiday)
- Variable Emolument: Rs. 960 per day for each working day
Statutory benefits of EPF and Gratuity are applicable. Selected candidates on Maternity Leave will be paid only the Fixed component during that period.
Period of Contractual Engagement
The initial engagement period is 6 months, extendable for three further tenures of 6 months each based on departmental requirement, job performance, conduct, and physical fitness, subject to a maximum total period of 24 months.
Important Instructions
- This is a purely contractual engagement and does not confer any right or claim to regular employment/regularization with Oil India Limited.
- The contract may be terminated by either side with 15 days’ notice.
- Provisionally selected candidates must join immediately; failure to join within the stipulated period (plus a maximum 15-day extension) will result in cancellation of provisional selection.
- Mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic/objectionable items are strictly banned at the venue; carrying such items will lead to disqualification and possible blacklisting.
- Selected candidates on contract cannot take up any other assignment during their engagement and may be placed at any location as decided by the competent authority.
- Accommodation and all applicable taxes are to be borne by the selected candidate.
- Candidates are entitled to 6 days of paid leave per 6-month contractual period.
- Any dispute arising from this engagement falls under the jurisdiction of the Dibrugarh District Court.
- Oil India Limited reserves the right to cancel or postpone the engagement process at any stage without assigning any reason.
